Why dedicated a section to 24 inch monitor displays? 24 Inch monitors are really the standard sized monitors of the future, just like how at one point 17 inch lcd displays were the standard. All the video format are slowly transitioning from purely digital to HD quality, the next wave of monitors will be fully HD compatible. And in order for a monitor to be fully HD compatible (1080P), it almost has to be at least 24 Inches.
Moreover, with the cost of LCD displays continue to decrease, bigger sized monitor will become cheaper over time. Monitors 24inches wide will eventually be the best value for consumers.

All of the following 24 inch monitors (and we’ve chosen one from each brand) are of similar price, hence the cost of each monitor will not be a part of this review, each evaluation will be based on technical specs and user experience.
Viewsonic Monitor 24 Inches – VX2433wm 24-inch WideScreen LCD
About this monitor: Good color accuracy and picture quality, compared to other models, it has a good response time. It does support VGA, DVI, and HDMI input, and it’s got a set of built in speakers, although hardly the best set of speakers that you’ll ever buy, some may actually consider the speakers terrible. The contrast ratio on this 24 inch display is a little on the low side. Read ViewSonic 24 inch monitor review.
Asus Monitor 24 Inches
About this monitor: high image quality, and it has a set of good and balanced features. One of the few monitors in its size class that’s a true 24 inches display. So you’re getting your money’s worth in terms of monitor real estate. Just like the Viewsonic Model, not the greatest of speakers, but that’s hardly a deal breaker. Samsung 24 Inch LCD Monitor
About this monitor: perhaps the better ones in the 24 inch monitor class. Highest of image quality, incredible dynamic contrast ratio, 70,000 to 1 (one of the best), this has all the input interface that you need (DVI/HDMI/VGA). You wont hear this too often, but this stand for this monitor is fixed. It’s a little harder to adjust. If that’s a deal breaker, maybe you should consider the ViewSonic model above. HP 24 Inch LCD Monitor LP 2475W
About this monitor: this is a true wide screen monitor, it’s ultra bright, with the display ratio of 16:10 Wide LCD, rather than the usual 16:9. This 24 inch monitor supports a wide range of video input, such as DVI, S-Video, Composite, HDMI and Component. One cool feature is the picture in picture capability, although it will not work if you try to use two different input from two computers. One of the input types has to be a video source.
